I've always enjoyed a good paradox, and the idea and vision behind this new blog does NOT flow with the current template. But alas, anyone that has known me the last almost seven years of blogging know that blog design is not my forte, and it probably never will be. So just stay tuned and hang with me on this one, I'll get it figured out (if I had a dollar for every time I've typed that...)


SUP, Y'ALL?

It feels good and strange all at the same time to be writing a post, since I've been out of the game for some time now. I kept pulling my blog and myself in so many different directions, had so much raw material of my life just thrown out on the interwebs for sancti-mommies and keyboard warriors to dissect, that I completely got rid of my former blog, From Beauty Queen to Baby Mama. The idea of it all was good in theory, but to be honest I just wanna apologize to any readers and anyone that knew me from 2011-early 2014. A huge shout to those that are still friends with me. I was awkward, trying to find my voice, and now looking back I have such embarrassment that I need to stop typing about it now before I go bury my head in the sand.

This blog is going to be something totally different than anything I've done- this blog is going to be nothing but anything within the realm of the beauty industry. Products, reviews, science, suggestions, tips, and trends... things that I actually know and am so passionate about. I will always throw in my anecdote on life here and there because that's just who I am as a human being, or share a story of goodwill because I'm a cancer and we love to have feelings. However for the most part, with all the crazy going on in the world and day-to-day life, sometimes you don't need to read another click-bait article about anxiety, toxic friendships, or how we are all overly-medicated and crazy. Sometimes you just need to read about a dupe for Nars Creamy Radiance Concealer, or my gypsy tricks for applying false eyelashes and getting them to stay all night. Whatever the reason, I hope you find yourself entertained and informed.
